About EAGP Media

This web site is a spin off of the Christ Church Cambridge "Ministry Of Sound". Where MOS is used to host all the Christ Church Cambridge audio from events (services and other, like the Lent Bible School), this site has been set up specifically for the EAGP and TEAM events audio (just to make it easier for people from other churches to find the EAGP/TEAM audio).

Audio from EAGP/TEAM talks is given to the Christ Church office who then process it in the normal way (see below - "How it works").

About EAGP/TEAM

TEAM is a one year, one day a week training course backed by the EAGP. Not all of the audio from TEAM appears on this site; just key events audio. For more information about TEAM, when it runs, how to get on it etc. please fill in the contact form, and a member of the TEAM administration will get back to you (please remember to leave your Email address!).

EAGP (East Anglia Gospel Partnership) is one of several regional partnerships set up to promote gospel ministry across the country.

How it works

The Sound Desk Team record sermons and pass them on to the MOS Team, who edit the recording. Typically this isn't a big job and only requires:

• Removing parts of the recording (the beginning and end) so that we have just the sermon
• Normalizing the audio (making it louder without distorting the audio)
• Converting the edited audio to MP3 and WMA
• Setting the ID3 Tags of the audio, so that when you import the audio into your favourite player it can categorize the sermon into groups
• Uploading the audio
• Updating the web site to indicate that it is available
